Google’s AR tool brings artworks and dinosaurs to your surroundings through augmented reality. Now, the tech giant has unveiled 50 more animals into the program, which you can access via its search engine.
In a new Twitter post, Google unveiled 3D images of a giraffe, cow, cat, zebra, pig, and Chow Chow placed in real-life surroundings.
“Hip(po), hip(po), hooray! There are 50 new AR animals to discover on Search. Search for your favorite animal on your Google mobile app, tap ‘View in 3D’ to see them in your space, and don’t forget to share your best creations with #Google3D,” the tweet reads.
To use the feature, users would need to look up the animal in the Google search tool via their smartphones and then scroll down the page to find the “View in 3D” option. This will open an AR projector that shows the true model of the animal with sound effects. You can then move the animal around in your space and take videos or images.
