Amazon has launched its very own custom clothing service as part of its ‘Made For You’ retail collection.
The online store allows customers to pick from eight colors and select the type of T-shirts, cotton-based fabrics, and sleeves they would like. Furthermore, they can enter in details like their weight, height, and body type, as well as upload two photos of themselves to fit their measurements accurately.
To make it even more personalized, customers are encouraged to print their names on the labels of the products. Once they have completed designing their outfit, they can virtually try them on an avatar of themselves based on the photos they have uploaded onto the system.
Amazon assured that the personal information and photos will be deleted after users have tried on the pieces on their virtual body doubles. They can also opt to update or delete their information at any time.
The custom T-shirts, priced at US$25 each, are available on Amazon’s app and website.
