A few weeks ago, Google had accidentally given customers a glimpse of the Pixel Buds A-Series through an email. Now, the tech giant has once again leaked details about the upcoming launch by tweeting an announcement for the audio gadgets, before deleting the post from its official page.
According to Pocket Now, despite the earbuds being named as ‘Pixel Buds A-Series’ in the tweet, Google will likely market it as ‘Pixel Buds A’ upon its launch. As suggested in the prematurely unveiled picture, the earbuds closely resemble the current Pixel Buds, and feature an all-white profile with a tinge of gray.
Apart from the all-white model, it is believed that a dark green option will also be available. The deleted tweet had also mentioned one-tap pairing, which allows Google’s Fast Pair feature to discover the earbuds when in close proximity.
However, it might differ from the current Pixel Buds in terms of the swipe-based volume control. The Series A model could be absent of that function due to its lower price point.
As of now, all the tech community knows is that these earbuds are being touted as a more affordable option to the original Pixel Buds, though all its features or pricing details are still to be determined.
Well looks like Google accidentally announced Pixel Buds A today. the tweet has been deleted but I have the screenshot pic.twitter.com/JuBPfLDRAp
