Following a long pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the iconic London Eye has finally reopened—with a cocktail of an idea.
Starting Friday, June 4, the travel highlight will be debuting an all-new pub situated 443 feet up in the air, so you can enjoy the London skyline with your tipple.
Step into the rotating pub and you’ll be greeted with dark wood accents, green foliage, and even a dartboard for you to test out your bullseye skills.
Created in partnership with Beefeater Gin, the pub will offer Beefeater’s new peach and raspberry gin, along with beer and wine too.
Each trip includes a 30-minute rotation on the ferris wheel and two complimentary drinks per guest. You’ll also get an exclusive enamel Beefeater cup to keep as a souvenir at the end of your ride.
Guests can also enjoy a fast-track boarding experience through the pub’s own dedicated entrance. Plus, enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the city’s iconic skyline, including landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace.
This one-of-a-kind pub experience will set you back US$78 per person, with pre-bookings mandatory.
“The Pub Pod serves up a unique experience like no other – moving across the capital’s most iconic views whilst in the comfort of a British pub,” said Sunny Jouhal, General Manager of the London Eye.
