If you spend much of your time working on documents, it’s recommended you use a default font that’s legible and, perhaps, scientifically proven to help you retain information.
That’s why Google is bringing 60 new, vastly different fonts to its Docs and Slides web apps. Depending on the project you’re working on, you’ll probably need a new font.
For a touch of humor, try Comic Neue, a “refined” update to the notorious Comic Sans. Hear us out—Comic Sans has apparently been found to boost reading retention, so typing with Comic Neue might create a similar effect if you’re trying to prepare for a presentation.
Those who stare at code all day might instead enjoy JetBrains Mono, a font “for the specific needs of developers.”
To locate these additions, open the fonts dropdown menu and click on “More fonts.”
