Marvel Studios undoubtedly left fans on the edge of their seats when it released the first, three-minute teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Evidently, everyone can’t wait to see Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) on the same screen again, as the video broke the record for most global views for the first day with 355.5 million views, superseding Avengers: Endgame’s 289 million views.
Now, in true Marvel Cinematic Multiverse and Into the Spider-Verse style, YouTube channel 100Bombs Studios has faithfully recreated the entire teaser trailer with clips from another interpretation of Spider-Man: the cartoon series from the 1990s. And it’s a perfect match, as it turns out.
The gatecrash of animation in a live-action trailer is a fitting representation of the expansive web that the sequel is set to spin. With the film being produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, and distributed by Sony Pictures, No Way Home will see Spider-Man characters from other franchises entering the MCU, like Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octavius from Spider-Man 2.
And now, you get two quality teaser trailers, which would suffice for now. Much more is to be expected in the coming months, as Spider-Man: No Way Home will only be released in the US on December 17.
