Pretzel Day, a tattoo, Adobe MAX. Anything to get out of the humdrum of work at Dunder Mifflin.

Now a source of comfort during stressful times at home, cast members of the long-loved comedy series The Office US are once again offering more reasons to get off work early, or at least on time. They’ll be delivering out-of-office messages in the leadup to the massive creativity event, starting with Mindy Kaling, who played the chatty Kelly Kapoor and was also one of the show’s writers.

If anyone knows office life, it’s Mindy. Even if that office is now at home, in sweats, filled with pings that keep you away from the creativity conference of the year, #AdobeMAX. But when you register for free we might have a surprise that can help. https://t.co/0nRwwTrN1S pic.twitter.com/vBGzu76GpD

Like last year’s conference, Adobe MAX 2021 will be conducted online and is free for all to attend. It will feature more than 400 sessions, keynotes, MAX Sneaks labs, and more, covering topics of all creative disciplines.

And if those aren’t enough to nudge you into registering your attendance, Adobe is roping in Melora Hardin (who played Michael Scott’s boss and ex Jan Levinson), David Koechner (the unlikeable traveling salesman, Todd Packer), Kate Flannery (Meredith Palmer), and Andy Buckley (Dunder Mifflin Chief Financial Officer David Wallace).

A few lucky registered attendees will receive a personalized OOO message from the actors, made possible with a collaboration between Adobe and celebrity personalized video message platform Cameo.

With this campaign, Adobe hopes those inundated with the blurring office hours at home can take the time to disconnect. It follows a survey conducted by the company, which suggests that more people are becoming “stressed, stretched and burnt out” in the work-from-home era.

Adobe MAX 2021 will run from 26 to 28 October. Click here to find out more about the event.
