Tesla held a small event this past weekend to mark the start of the refreshed version of its Model X electric vehicle (EV) to its new customers.
TMC forum member Sunnyvaletree shared a video of his new Model X on Sunday, which provides a quick first look into the redesign.
Tesla has also shared some photos of the event and the EVs with their new owners.

Recently, the Model S also received somewhat of a transformation, and the Model X’s new dashboard is reminiscent of the new look. However, the difference is that the Model X boasts a large glass windshield and taller space, as well as Falcon Wing doors, Electrek notes. It also reports that this particular build looks to be priced close to US$100,000.
The EVs delivered at this event all appeared to be six-seaters, but other makes like five- or seven-seaters might also be on their way.
Although it’s exciting to see the updated design, and will undoubtedly garner the interest of potential new customers, it’ll be quite some time before any new orders placed can be delivered.
Due to a chip shortage and other supply chain difficulties, the lead times for the Model X see the Long Range version estimated at September 2022, which is almost a year from now. Meanwhile, the Plaid version is expected in July 2022.
