Flatpack isn’t the only style you need to know when it comes to assembling your own furniture. Building upon the expandable nature of its toys, the LEGO Group has teamed up with Danish home product design brand and frequent collaborator Room Copenhagen to launch stackable pieces suited for even the most minimalist of homes.
The new Room Copenhagen x LEGO collection is constructed from wood, which, by the way, was the original material used for LEGO toys. As House Beautiful reports, the nifty storage solutions are built to scale according to the dimensions of LEGO plastic bricks, and thus can be stacked neatly on top of each other.
The series comprises wall hangers, picture frames, book racks, and desk drawers with LEGO’s quintessential knobs in soaped oak and dark stained oak finishes. Whether your rooms are pared-back or maximalist, these wooden fixtures might give your home that playful touch it needs.
