Apple Creates Fitness+ Workout Collection To Help Reach Your New Year Goals
By Alexa Heah, 10 Jan 2022
Members of Apple’s Fitness+ will be delighted to kick off 2022 with a slew of new features, most prominently, the new ‘Time to Run’ audio
running experience to accompany you as you work out.
Similar to ‘Time to Walk’, the new ‘Time to Run’ feature comprises a series of episodes narrated by a community of Fitness+ trainers, including curated “motivating and energizing” playlists to push you along. If you’re particular digging a trainer’s soundtrack, you’ll be able to download the playlist on its own, too.
According to Input, the first three episodes will launch on January 10, with one subsequent episode coming out every Monday. Those who prefer ‘Time to Walk’ can still enjoy that option with new episodes by Chris Meloni, Chelsea Handler, Hasan Minhaj, and Rebel Wilson being added.
In addition, as per MacRumors, Apple is debuting ‘Collections’, a series of workouts and guided meditations for users to get back on track. It even includes suggested training plans that’ll allow users to reach their goals over a period of days or weeks.
At launch, six different plans will be available, such as the ’30-Day Core Challenge’, ‘Improve Your Posture with Pilates’, and ‘Perfect Your Yoga Balance Poses’.
Ready to get back on your fitness journey? Fitness+’s latest offerings are sure to help.
