Here Are The ‘Hottest’ Brands That Shoppers Are Wearing In Q1 2022

Last year, the fashion industry was awed when front-runner Gucci had been knocked off its perch as the “world’s hottest brand,” with new number-one Balenciaga taking over the title.
Now, as results emerge from Q1 2022, it seems the streetwear label has maintained its spot on the throne, showing no signs of slowing down in popularity across the globe.
According to Sourcing Journal, demand for the brand’s goods surged 108% this quarter after having featured global stars, including Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber, in its numerous campaigns.
In second place is Gucci, whose collaboration with The North Face helped keep its position. Even more impressive, Lyst reported the luxury fashion house had a 32% revenue spike from Q4 2021, which could be in part due to its long-awaited Adidas collaboration.
Louis Vuttion and Prada ranked in third and fourth places respectively, the former no doubt aided by late creative director Virgil Abloh’s final fashion show that took place in January, which saw more customers drawn to the Maison despite its increase in prices.
In addition, Prada saw a substantial 41% increase in full-price sales from the previous quarter, which industry experts say could be due to the Italian label tapping cult-favorite Euphoria star Hunter Schaffer for its Spring 2022 campaign.
Valentino came in fifth place, followed by Dior, Moncler, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, and Miu Miu rounding up the top 10.
Six out of the top 10 women’s products in Q1 2022 were footwear, featuring Naked Wolfe’s knee-thigh heeled boots, UGG’s classic ultra mini boot, Moon Boot’s icon nylon snow boots, New Balance’s 327 sneakers, Valentino’s tan-go platform pump, and Diesel’s straight jeans with boots.
As for the men, New Balance’s P550 Aimé Leon Dore kicks topped the list, with Prada’s triangle shoulder bag and the North Face’s 1996 retro Nuptse jacket finishing out the top three.
