Apple Could Finally Be Releasing The Long-Awaited AirPods Pro 2 This Fall
By Alexa Heah, 10 May 2022

Apple news leaker Mark Gurman has caused a stir again by revealing in his latest edition of Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter that new AirPods Pro could be coming in the fall.
The current model was launched three years ago in 2019, making it a reasonable guess that Apple would want to update the hardware, as Gurman posited that batteries could already be failing for early users.
Additionally, those who prefer over-the-ear headphones can look out for AirPods Max in a new array of colors, though we’re still keeping our fingers crossed for a price drop.
According to MacRumors, Gurman’s leaks are most likely to be believed, especially as they line up with tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s predictions of the AirPods Pro launching in the second half of 2022.
As previously reported, the AirPods Pro 2 could come with a shorter stem, lossless audio capabilities, and a charging case that emits sound so you won’t lose your earphones in the depths of your tote bag again.
While the rumored health features aren’t confirmed just yet, fans would certainly be looking forward to new and improved AirPods Pro for longer playback time.
