Volkswagen, Not Tesla, Could Lead The Electric Car Race By 2024: Bloomberg
By Nicole Rodrigues, 16 Jun 2022

Tesla currently reigns over the electric vehicle market, but a new report by Bloomberg Intelligence predicts that it could soon be outrun by Tesla as soon as 2024.
As stated in the analysis, Volkswagen is fast-tracking its electric vehicle delivery under some of the 10 brands under its wing. Models under the Volkswagen belt include the Volkswagen ID.3 compact car, the Audi e-Tron, and the electric Porsche Taycan.
Plenty of newer electric cars from Volkswagen Group are scheduled to be released by their various brands in the coming years, outnumbering Tesla’s singular line of cars in the market.
Volkswagen has been covering much ground over the last year with its year-over-year growth going over 100%. The prediction for its soon overtake of Tesla in the market shows the push other companies are making to bring electric options to all brands.
Tesla still remains the top dog for now but with Volkswagen looking to expand its fleet of battery-operated vehicles in each of its brands, Tesla’s days may be numbered.
