Have you ever had a favorite pair of shoes you wished you could everywhere? Even on the internet? With AMBUSH’s new 3D-printed clogs, now you can. Named the 100S, the shoes each come with a non-fungible token that unlocks a wearable version of the shoes on the brand’s metaverse scape, Silver Fctry.
AMBUSH, for the fashion novice, began as a Japanese jewelry brand created by designers VERBAL and YOON, before branching into fashion. The label was made famous due to its roster of celebrity fans, including Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, and Pharrell Williams.
AMBUSH’s printed clogs embrace this new era of technology, marrying high-tech manufacturing with high-tech features. German 3D-printed footwear company Zellerfeld serves as the brawns behind this collaboration. Zellerfeld provided a creation process that allowed for freedom in design without comprising comfort and function. On top of this, the clogs are also fully recyclable.
Clogs have slowly been coming back in fashion and different brands have been banking on this resurging trend. The eye-catching design of the shoes is also a nod to this futuristic affair. With textured ridges, an arched midsole, and painted in a loud lime green, this shoe is sure to turn heads in real life and online.
