The Met Becomes NYC’s Most Expensive Museum To Visit
By Alexa Heah, 01 Jul 2022

Starting this month, visitors from out of state who visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City will see admission prices increase by US$5.
While residents in New York and tri-state students will still be allowed to pay as they wish, all other guests will have to fork out US$30 for an adult ticket, US$22 for seniors, and US$17 for students.
This makes the museum the most expensive to visit in the city, as Time Out notes.
In contrast, adult admission to the Guggenheim costs US$25, with a pay-as-you-wish admission fee on Saturdays between 6pm and 8pm for those who can’t afford to fork out the usual sum.
