Christmas, or Halloween, came ridiculously early this year as images of a pair of furry green Nikes have snuck their way online.
Designed by streetwear label Cactus Plant Flea Market (CPFM), the collaborative Nike Dunk Low sneakers will turn anyone into a walking ornament—though for the Grinch, he’ll just look barefooted.
The Dr Seuss character serves as the obvious inspiration for the footwear. Its upper is a mess of faux green fur, while its hidden, gritty sole is wrapped in mud.

Whoville in the what now?
According to Highsnobiety, the sneakers will either be named the ‘Grinch’ or ‘Overgrown’ Dunk Lows, with the latter alluding to untamed grass.
Sneaker collector Ian Thomas has the first in-hand look at this unhinged design:
The sneakers are emblazoned with CPFM’s Yin Yang symbol on the heels, along with Nike and CPFM branding on the tongues. Accordingly, the soles are made from Nike’s eco-friendly Grind Rubber material which uses post-industrial rubber.
There’s no release date for these monstrous kicks as yet, though they’re expected to arrive during the festive season. You’ll probably need to be on Santa’s naughty list to score these.
