Studio Ghibli Releases ‘Totoro’ Rings To Impress Someone You Toto-rally Adore
If you still think about the magical forest of My Neighbor Totoro now and then, you can now spirit away into it with a simple glance. A series of sweet new rings from Donguri Republic, Studio Ghibli’s official merchandise store, puts the enchanting realm in—or, rather, on—your hands.
Of the six rings, four depict Totoro. The other two feature the Soot Spirits and Catbus.
When you’re not taking the creatures out, you can rest them on their display stand, which is endearingly shaped like a tree stump and acorns. The rings double as both jewelry and sculptures, so they’ll accessorize your desk too.
As part of the magic, the rings are part of a blind box that’s going for ¥1,100 (US$8), though fans can also purchase the full set for ¥6,600 (US$48) from Donguri Republic’s locations and online.
