PANTONE Predicts Freshest Colors To Spotlight Spring/Summer 2023 Runways

PANTONE has just shared the hues it foresees will paint the runways in Spring/Summer 2023.
This year’s color report reflects a new generation of people that are coming to terms with a changing world as we emerge from the pandemic. The hues are a myriad of bright and calming tones that represent a new zest for life as we begin to take chances and relish a new sense of freedom. The contrasting set of shades symbolizes our need to express ourselves in new and exciting ways.

Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the PANTONE Color Institute, states, “Colors for Spring/Summer 2023 are recalibrated for the new era we are entering. Blending escapism with reality, wholesomeness, and joy, we embrace the exploration of extreme contrast in mood and color.” She also goes on to say, “There is utility and basic-ness to this season’s color story, while at the same time, there is an uplifting, vital sense of play that comes through.”
The lineup serves as a guide to keep things interesting for designers, brands, and fashion enthusiasts each season.
