Lamborghini Makes Experimental, Off-Roading Supercar A Reality—Releasing Soon

Lamborghini is taking its Huracán Sterrato where none of its other sportscars have gone before: off the beaten path.

The off-roader was first teased as a concept in 2019. Now, it’s back, and it seems like it’s even in production.

As Lamborghini is gunning for a full debut on November 30, the car’s full specs are not yet known. However, it’s known that the V10 supercar has had its ride height increased by 1.85 inches to prepare it for any environment. It has also been given a reinforced frame, and its suspension has been reworked to handle all terrain.
 
In terms of what it can handle, Lamborghini states that it is “the first super sports car designed for maximum driving pleasure even away from the asphalt on loose or dirt surfaces.”
 
Regular tires have been swapped out for balloon tires, and a new front wing has been fitted onto it to accommodate the 30mm shift in its front axle.

According to Top Gear, it will essentially be a Huracán Evo but with the ability to trek the jungle or head down dirt roads if you like. It will house a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 630 brake horsepower and all-wheel drive.
 
With all that said, Jalopnik and Top Gear both believe that there is more to the Sterrato than fans currently know, and until November 30, they will have to strap in and wait.
