Mazda Builds A Mini Roadster Delicately Crafted Out Of Chocolate  

Mazda’s latest addition might just drive you loco-cocoa.

The Japanese automaker has constructed an adorable car completely out of chocolate. The sweet creation, designed by Kenta Hasegawa, head chef at Tokyo patissier Melanchomelt/Sucretier, captures details of the company’s life-sized cars to pull out all the stops for Valentine’s Day.

The edible replica of the ND Roadster—which is the retractable hardtop version of the Miata—even faithfully recreates its muse’s internal parts like the bucket seats, tri-gauge instrument panel, exhaust system, muffler, brakes, and more.

The miniature roadster is paired with a chocolate Mazda logo and parked inside a pretty box.

For obvious reasons, Mazda isn’t taking this version to the road. With that being said, the car is also completely off-limits to foodies, since it was a one-off crafted just for the romantic holiday.
