7UP Refreshes Brand Identity To Infuse Cans With Splashes Of ‘UPliftment’

Hoping to bring positivity and surprise, and to uplift fans across the globe, 7UP recently unveiled its refreshed brand identity—the first makeover the PepsiCo beverage has gotten in over seven years.
On the new packaging, which retains the drink’s iconic green color, customers will find a new brand identity slogan—‘New Get Up, Same 7UP’—accompanied by zesty citrus motifs to better showcase the “freshness” of its taste.
According to the company, the new design will be rolled out on all 7UP and 7UP Zero Sugar bottles and cans beginning March 2023. While fans will still be drawn to the familiar punchy green, the added citrus hues and distinct high-contrast lines help bring forth an “upward energy.”
In addition, the brand aims to “embody the universal language of comedy” to reach out to fans worldwide “in unexpected ways.” This will come in the form of its first-ever consumer platform that will launch in spring, enabling customers to enjoy unique experiences with the drink.
“UPliftment is a concept that resonates with people globally. Our new visual identity for 7UP was inspired first and foremost by the brand’s creation of moments of UPliftment throughout its history,” explained Mauro Porcini, Chief Design Officer at PepsiCo.
“The PepsiCo Design & Innovation Team created a bright and confident visual identity system that will echo across cultures, regions, and languages,” he added.
