MSCHF’s Latest Exhibit Is Made From Stuff That Could Literally Kill You

As part of its exhibit at Frieze New York 2023, the infamous art collective MSCHF has brought together a compilation of common substances to present a more sinister side to these everyday items.
Aptly dubbed Lethal Dose, the series showcases the exact amounts of each product that it would take to kill a 200-pound individual through acute toxicity, highlighting how everyone’s surrounded by potentially fatal chemicals all the time.
Stacked in the form of various shapes, the toxic substances allow the viewer to visualize how much it’d take to prove lethal, such as a pyramid of 91 bottles of 5-Hour Energy or a transparent arch of 288 pills of Advil Dual Action.
The group told Hypebeast its research showed that products found in an average American pantry or bathroom vanity could kill an entire family of four if used nefariously. Welp.
