Dyson Rolls In What It Calls World’s ‘Most Powerful’ Intelligent Robot Vacuum
By Nicole Rodrigues, 26 May 2023

Robot vacuums are nothing new in the home appliance sector. However, with the introduction of the iRobot’s Roomba in 2002, homes got a bit cleaner thanks to an autonomous bot that could do all the mundane vacuuming while you kicked your feet up.
Dyson, perhaps most famous for its cordless vacuum cleaners and hair styling tools, is finally entering the ring with what it claims to be the most powerful intelligent robot cleaner, the 360 Vis Nav.

The company claims that the 360 Vis Nav will be able to suction up with twice as much power as its competitors. It backs this up by citing the testing done on the gadget in Germany on its product page. On that note, it comes with a Hyperdymium motor spinning at 110,000 rpm.
It has 26 sensors to give it 360 vision, so it won’t bump into you, walls, or fall down any stairs. It’s also built pretty slim to slide under your couch easily. Moreover, it has a robust suspension that allows it to roll up and down steps that are 21 mm high.

In addition, it can move about in four modes: Quiet, Quick, Boost, and Auto. The Auto function contains a five-stage HEPA filtration system that will capture dust and seal in 99.99% of the particles. When it needs to be cleaned, it will alert you and guide you with instructions through its app on how to clean it.
To charge the vacuum, simply dock it into the wall charger. It takes only 2.5 hours to fully power up, which provides up to 50 minutes of cleaning time. Like other appliances, you can control the settings via the MyDyson app.

Outside of this, it seems like it won’t include a mop that most robot vacuums use nowadays for double the cleaning action.
