Are you the type to get rid of your gadgets’ boxes as soon as their warranty is up? If so, what do you do with that excess space, and what is your furniture pointed at?

According to Kotaku, on Wednesday, the PlayStation UK Twitter account issued a PSA to cardboard hoarders (read: cardbhoarders), telling them that it was finally “OK to throw away the cardboard box your PlayStation came in.”

The advice fell on deaf ears, and fans responded by sharing photos of the dusty statement pieces that have piled up in their rooms over the years.

You must know that, with all the time gamers spend cooped up in their rooms and strategizing ways to survive attacks, they’d be more than prepared for when the apocalypse arrives. Without the boxes, how then are they supposed to build a fort when the time comes?

Sensitive souls also lauded the packaging for its “emotional support” features.

Just in case its instructions were unclear, the brand clarified that its message applies to all versions of the PlayStation, not just the latest PS5 or—egads—the original, 30-year-old PlayStation.

yeah those too. Unless you're planning to build a PlayStation themed cardboard fort

Well, now that you’ve decluttered your room, what are you supposed to do with all that space?

What? No. How dare you. Those take up like 70% of my space. What would I do with all that closet space if it was freed up? https://t.co/WkzqPPiC6y pic.twitter.com/mFo62L87ug
