Boots Embraces The Imperfect Lives Of Everyday People Through The Eyes Of A Wasp

At some point in your lives, you might have wished you were a fly on the wall—or a wasp, in this case—listening in on some juicy gossip or simply just experiencing life from a new perspective.
UK drugstore Boots is doing just that with its Perfectly Imperfect campaign, shot by the pharmacy’s advertising agency, The Pharm, which has a wasp looking into the lives of everyday people finding joy in their imperfect lives.
The wasp flies around a public pool, following a few families on a warm summer day. Of course, it’s not a perfect day for some—as a dad is seen using his Boots first-aid kit to patch up his kid after a fall, and a girl works through her allergies while trying to enjoy a day out at the pool. Though, it’s in these moments that life is authentic and perfect in its imperfect way, just as the title would have us believe.
A comment from Boots in Marketing Beat explains that the film also highlights the nation’s resilience, as people are prepared for whatever comes their way, whether it be something major or hay fever.
