‘LEGO DREAMZzz’ Brings Kids’ Fantasies To Life To Champion Creative Imagination

Recently, the LEGO Group launched LEGO DREAMZzz, its all-new segment that aims to bring children’s creative, fantastical dreams to life through a television series and toy range.


The show follows the adventures of school friends Mateo, Izzie, Cooper, Logan, and Zoey as they use the power of imagination to traverse obstacles within the Dream World as part of an undercover agency trying to defeat the Nightmare King.


Why the focus on dreams? Well, according to new research by the brand of over 23,000 participants, studies found that seven in 10 kids (69%) report experiencing complex emotions, including stress and loneliness, in their everyday lives.

One in four (24%) cite world events or social media as the cause for their unhappiness. While this may sound bleak, sleep experts posit that dreams could play a key role in helping young adolescents process complicated feelings, especially if they use their flourishing imagination.

Two-thirds (68%) of the children surveyed agreed, indicating that they felt dreams were important to them and allowed them to be more creative in daily life. As such, to champion the passion for creativity in children, LEGO decided to bring the concept to life with LEGO DREAMZzz.


The 10-episode series first launched on May 15, though viewers can look forward to an accompanying product range and more episodes from August 2023. Head over to the LEGO YouTube channel to catch up.
