Cherry blossom season has been extended over at Tiffany’s, which is having a spring in its step with the newly-refurbished Ginza flagship in Tokyo.
Although preserving the reflective, faceted exterior designed by famed architect Kengo Kuma and Associates in 1996 to mirror intricately-cut gems, Tiffany & Co. has also planted new life to it with the help of English artist Damien Hirst, whose pastel flowers abundantly cover the front in honor of the grand reopening.
Inside, the location’s three stories are graced with neutral shades and delicate silhouettes, while being invigorated by bright, nature-themed artwork.

“Unified by the same pursuit of beauty, craftsmanship, and innovation, Tiffany & Co. and Hirst strongly believe in the transformative power of art and its ability to evoke emotions and inspire awe,” the luxury jeweler expresses in a statement.
As part of the celebrations, the store will showcase a series of rare archival pieces, including a garland-style diamond necklace crafted in 1900 and a World Baseball Classic Championship Trophy.
