Xbox Dishes Out Pizza-Scented Controllers For Hungry Gamers
Gaming, pizza, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—what do these three have in common? Not much. However, Microsoft has somehow found a way to merge all of them in a limited-edition controller for the Xbox Series X/S.
Pizza is always the right choice when considering some gaming session fuel. And when you can’t have it, why not have your paraphernalia smell like it as well? That’s right, folks, the future is here in the form of a controller and diffuser “shaped like a slice of delicious New York ’za.” That’s all well and good as long as it doesn’t attract any NYC rats at the same time.
The TMNT-style gadget comes with an attachable diffuser that pizza enthusiasts can infuse with the provided pizza-scent liquid, ensuring your gaming room will always exude the aroma of freshly baked pie. And in the event you ever tire of this experience, you can detach the diffuser and revert to your regular-smelling gaming gear.
The controller itself is stylized after each of the Turtles with their names, Leonardo, Rafael, Michelangelo, and Donatello, “spray-painted” in graffiti onto it. There’s also an image of the respective turtles and their weapons.

The promotion is ushering in the 2023 Game Of The Year contender Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and, as such, will be about as easy to get your hands on as catching the Turtles in action.
