Saint Laurent Goes Cool For The Summer With Its Own Gelato Cart
There could be no better time to dig into a cup of icy gelato than when you’re caught in the summer heat. What would only make that better is if you’re also on the banks of the Seine… with a Saint Laurent-branded gelato cart waiting for you.
Saint Laurent Rive Droite has teamed up with the Italian restaurant Saint Ambroeus to introduce a gelato cart experience in a delectable fusion of fashion and flavor. This stylish installation finds its home nestled within Saint Laurent’s Rive Droite boutique, situated on the iconic Rue Saint-Honoré in the heart of Paris.
An array of six chic gelato flavors is on offer, including strawberry, lemon, peach, pistachio vanilla, and the classic Italian stracciatella sorbet.

Drawing inspiration from Yves Saint Laurent’s storied Rive Gauche store, the Rive Droite arm, led by Anthony Vaccarello, takes a less stoic and monochromatic look at fashion and instead indulges in trendy and cultural explorations ranging from luxury band merch to musical instruments.
The gelato cart venture pays homage to previous liaisons between Saint Laurent and Saint Ambroeus. In 2019, the duo parked a food truck right on the banks of the Seine, where pasta and panettone made with French galcés were served.
