Sun’s out, burger buns out. McDonald’s in Italy is driving heat to its lineup by dressing up its menu and logo for the beach.
Created by the brand’s advertising agency Leo Burnett Italia, these summer-themed visuals depict swimming floats as a cheeseburger or Quarter Pounder, a sand bucket and shovels as French fries, and polka-dotted parasols as sesame-topped buns.

Other graphics see a pair of flip-flops as the Golden Arches, red and yellow towels as condiments for fries, and beach balls approaching a whirlpool that looks like a McFlurry.

The campaign, entitled Enjoy our summer, was cooked up to appear on the fast-food chain’s social media channels.

Months back, McDonald’s Italy floated with the same idea, quite literally, by reimagining its burgers, Chicken McNuggets, and fries as inflatables.
