The North Face Rocks Out A New Guitar Case For Intrepid Musicians
By Nicole Rodrigues, 21 Aug 2023
The North Face and Shiotsuka Moeka, a vocalist and guitarist from the indie rock band Hitsujibungaku, are trekking down a musical path to create a guitar case that reflects Moeka’s passion for music.
The Shiotsuka Moeka x The North Face Guitar Case has an adjustable cushioning system held in place with velcro. This allows it to almost mold to your instrument and essentially allows just about any type of guitar to be held within it.
But practicality doesn’t stop there. It also boasts functional storage pockets that host your strings, picks, and other musical essentials.
Considering that The North Face was behind the creation of the case, one can expect to withstand the rigors of life on the road or even just a casual stroll through the park. Rain or shine, your instrument remains protected, thanks to the included rain cover.
The Shiotsuka Moeka x The North Face Guitar Case is priced at JPY¥39,600, which translates to approximately US$272.
But there’s a catch: only 150 of these unique cases will ever see the light of day. And how do you get your hands on one? The North Face has opted for a lottery held via The North Face Explorer app from August 21 to August 28.
