Despite the company being extremely tight-lipped about forthcoming releases, Apple’s iPhone 15 might have already been out in the wild.
It’s been speculated that the tech giant has begun shooting how-to videos for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro, as a fan has spotted a familiar face at a filming location believed to be set up by the company. In a clip posted by TikTok user Cris Martínez, he relates that Apple closed the vicinity surrounding the Antara flagship store in Mexico City on August 4 to seemingly record a commercial.

And while Apple advertisements are a dime a dozen, Martínez suspects this was no ordinary shoot. That’s because the main actor on set was the same one in the Guided Tour videos for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 lineups, shared below.
The Guided Tour series typically shows how the smartphones can be used optimally in the outdoors. Previously, Apple chose New York and California as the backdrops for its commercials, and it appears to have selected Mexico City to spotlight the iPhone 15’s features, 9to5Mac reports.
Putting two and two together, the TikTok user surmises that the company could be getting ready for a potential unveiling. Unfortunately, there was no smoking gun in the form of an iPhone 15 in sight, which means all the evidence is circumstantial so far.
As is customary for Apple each year, the Cupertino behemoth will likely present the next generation of iPhones in September, so the timing does add up.
