All passengers on this plane will be instantly upgraded to business class, the only tier it offers.
BermudAir, a new airline founded only three months ago, will embark on flights with an “all-business class” configuration.
The boutique company, Bermuda’s first locally-established airline, will carry its first paid passengers on August 31, taking them directly from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, and New York to the British Overseas Territory for prices as low as US$199.
Its “business class-only” experience, however, will only take off on November 1 due to supply-chain issues surrounding its special seating, per DMARGE.
Called ‘Aisle Class’, the pods on BermudAir’s Embraer 175s offer “easy access to the aisle” while providing window views. Seats are positioned in 15 rows of two, with one window per pax. The unique setup was dreamed up by aircraft interior design firm Factorydesign, says BermudAir.

The airliner details that it has eliminated all overhead compartments for a roomy experience during short-haul flights—“something no other airline has done before,” it notes. With just 30 seats on board, it promises “unprecedented comfort” one normally wouldn’t get with an economy-class ticket.
At the end of the day, such perks still warrant a premium, with a trip aboard one of these all-business class flights setting you back as much as US$999. This price, however, includes complimentary Wi-Fi and access to movies, television programs, magazines, and more, in addition to the ability to text on WhatsApp, and ample storage for carry-ons and personal belongings.
The company isn’t skimping in the gastronomical department too, it seems, with its inflight menus consisting of meals, treats, and cocktails prepared by “Bermuda’s finest food specialists,” like local French bakery l’Artisan Boulangerie and Ahmani’s Cookie Company.
