Razer and Gillette are making a sharp detour into each other’s territories, all for the sake of cracking a joke—and giving gamers the grooming precision they deserve.
The sci-fi-esque tool, which gets its radioactive glow from Razer’s triple-headed snake logo and acid-green marks, promises a clean KO with every stroke.
“This is the best shaver a gamer can get,” the gaming lifestyle company notes in the press release. “After all, we believe for one to achieve peak performance in gaming and play sharp, one must first feel sharp.”
The punning, co-branded product stems from an April Fools’ joke that the brand rolled out this year. After much prompting from gamers, Razer raced to make the Razer Razer a real razor.
“For this one, there was really only one partner worth engaging,” says Razer.

The limited-edition GilletteLabsRazer boasts several features for high-fidelity shaving, including an exfoliating bar that untangles trapped hairs before the blades glide across the skin.
Its five sharp GilletteLabs blades, along with the adaptive 2D FlexDisc design that contours to the face, provides optimal contact with the skin in each stroke. As for the handle, constructed from resilient diecast zinc metal, it even comes with a lifetime warranty so it’ll virtually never be game over.
The razor can be docked at the accompanying magnetic stand, emblazoned with Razer’s motto, “For Gamers, By Gamers,” which has the blade optimized for daily stubble growth by keeping it upright, dry, and clean.
While this is pretty mucha dressed-up GilletteLabs product, the two brands are confident that gamers and everyday shavers alike will make a dash for their joint cutting-edge aesthetics and technology.
