Adidas, renowned for its running heritage and innovation in shoe technology, introduces the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1. To snag these, you’ll probably have to save up, as they’re priced at US$500 a pair.
At a mere 4.87 oz, it’s the lightest racing sneaker in Adidas’ repertoire, boasting a 40% weight reduction compared to previous models. Rigorous lab testing optimized its forward momentum and running economy.
Representing the progression of the ADIZERO series, the Adios Pro Evo 1 boasts a redesigned structure, including a unique forefoot rocker positioned at 60% of the shoe’s length.
This pioneering feature has undergone laboratory testing, demonstrating its ability not only to propel forward motion but also to enhance running efficiency. Which means you can now just run faster without using too much energy.
The kicks incorporate Adidas’ proprietary Lightstrike Pro foam technology, offering featherlight cushioning and more energy return. Its innovative outsole ensures top-tier traction, while the ultra-lightweight mesh upper enhances breathability.
With the Adizero sling launch heel lockdown, you can expect a secure and comfortable fit. Currently, it’s available in the White, Black, and Crystal White colorway, with more options slated for release.
The Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 is set to launch on September 26 at 8 a.m. PT and 11 a.m. ET, exclusively through the Adidas app, for US$500.
