Super Mario Bros’ Torsos Turn Into Insulated Tumblers For 7-Eleven

With the upcoming release of a new Super Mario Wonder game on the horizon, Nintendo and publishing house Takarajimasha have unveiled a new way to keep fans hydrated while gaming.
The Super Mario Tumbler Book takes the unmistakable torsos of Mario and his brother Luigi and turns them (and their iconic worker’s overalls) into insulated containers.
These cups are made of durable steel and can hold around 11 ounces. Their vacuum-insulated design ensures your beverages remain at the ideal temperature, which also means they won’t condensate, and you won’t need a coaster.
In the realm of creative and functional novelties, the Super Mario Tumbler Book is poised to make a delightful appearance on October 12.
Now, you might be wondering where the word “book” comes into play. Each cup will come with a pamphlet of sorts to allow the 7-Eleven Japan outlets to sell them on magazine racks. The “books” will also give fans a sneak peek into the upcoming game.
Each of these tumbler-books can be yours for JPY¥2,959 (US$20). For those eager to add these playful cups to their collection, they can be found at 7-Elevens or ordered directly from Takarajimasha.
