Creators looking to boost the impact of Reels can now experiment with different captions and thumbnail images as Meta introduces a brand-new A/B testing feature to Facebook.
As part of the Professional Dashboard, content providers can pair each clip with up to four different captions and thumbnails—whichever combination receives the most views will automatically be displayed on the individual’s page.
That’s not all. In the near future, the technology giant could offer the ability for users to tap into the powers of artificial intelligence (AI) to come up with more engaging captions.
These changes come as Meta updated its Insights function, offering creators more information to analyze their performance. One will be able to view posting habits, audience metrics, content performance, and more at a glance.
Plus, creators can dig deeper and view data spanning the past 90 days—three times the previous 28-day timeframe—in order to better monitor and get a more complete understanding of trends.
“We plan to continue enhancing Professional Dashboard to make it even easier to find what you need,” Meta promised in a blog post.
