Supermodel Karlie Kloss Acquires British Publication i-D Magazine

Runway maven Karlie Kloss has recently acquired the British luxury fashion and culture publication, i-D Magazine.
According to Grazia, the deal states the supermodel will take on the role of CEO for the magazine, while current editor-in-chief and veteran stylist Alastair McKimm will be leading the operation as the chief creative officer and global editor-in-chief.
This deal comes as VICE Media, the parent company of the aforementioned journal, filed for bankruptcy in May 2023. The publication was first founded in 1980 by British art director Terry Jones.
Originally, it had started as a street-style print gallery that captured moments of British punk youth culture, before evolving into a global fashion network over time.
In what could be considered a full-circle moment, this isn’t Kloss’ first involvement with i-D Magazine.
The partnership dates back to when she was just a 19-year-old model making her mark in the industry. Kloss graced the cover of the publication with a signature wink, marking the beginning of a long-lasting relationship with the publication.
