Why should diamonds only be a girl’s best friend? This Valentine’s Day, SAXX Underwear is making jewelry more inclusive with a rather ballsy gift: the Upside Down Heart Pendant.
If you haven’t noticed already, the heart symbol associated with Cupid and the like isn’t shaped like a human heart. However, turn it upside down and you’ve got something nearly anatomically correct. This gem, as a result, is a love letter to the nether regions, another part of the body known for its sensitivity.
This 14-karat gold necklace, dreamed up by creative house Quality Meats, comes with two natural round-cut diamonds totaling one carat, a nod to men’s “jewels.” Its release is perfectly timed with SAXX’s collaboration with Hanky Panky Lingerie Underwear, where shoppers can acquire the precious piece in a his-and-hers bundle consisting of SAXX and Hanky Panky underwear.
Besides showing some cheeky appreciation for gonads, the Upside Down Heart Pendant reflects SAXX’s innovative design featuring a hammock-shaped pouch to support one’s family jewels.

“We wanted to offer something special to those who offer their gentleman’s balls a little something special,” remarks Shawna Olsten, VP of brand marketing at SAXX. “And what better reward for valuing ball care than a luxurious diamond necklace in the shape of a heart that happens to be upside down?”
This one-of-a-kind jewelry piece, along with the matching underwear set, is available on the SAXX website for US$5,000. If the launch isn’t nuts enough, SAXX has pledged all proceeds from the sale of this bundle to the Testicular Cancer Foundation.

Romance can get testy—but if you ask the right people, they’ll tell you that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
