PANTONE has rolled out the red, mint, rose, and ganache carpets for stylish celebrities who stole the show at the 2024 Academy Awards, immortalizing their glamorous looks with hues that capture their essence.
The swatches, created by Nick Sizemore of Sizemore Color Studios for the color authority, commemorate Emma Stone’s delightful mint green Louis Vuitton dress, which earned the elegant title of ‘Milky Green’. Meanwhile, Margot Robbie's sophisticated black Versace gown, adorned with shimmering details, became simply ‘Ganache’.
Emily Blunt’s shimmering, shell-like Schiaparelli creation was dubbed ‘Crystal Gray’, while Cynthia Erivo’s emerald green Wicked-esque number is celebrated as ‘Forest Biome’, and Ariana Grande’s voluminous pink Giambattista Valli masterpiece was captured as ‘Pink Tulle’, reflecting its romantic and playful nature.
Elsewhere, Michelle Yeoh’s sequined dress embodied the spirit of celebration with the name ‘Disco Ball’, and Zendaya’s intriguing black and pink combination was christened ‘Dusty Rose’. America Ferrera also brought a pop of fun with her vibrant Barbiecore dress, earning the straightforward yet fitting title ‘Hot Pink’.
“From dazzling hues to striking metallics, this year’s event was a masterpiece of color and creativity,” says PANTONE.
