40 years ago, a love for nature and a beekeeper named Burt Shavitz, alongside artist Roxanne Quimby, sparked a natural personal care revolution. Today, Burt’s Bees is commemorating its anniversary with a special collection, sweetly crafted by branding agency Tavern, that’s as good for you as it is for the planet.

For those who yearn for simpler times, Camp Burt’s ’84 Summer Merch collection brings vintage tees, bucket hats, and beach towels—all channeling the carefree vibes of the brand’s early days.

Not to mention, the iconic yellow and red chapstick has been reimagined as a reusable water bottle, towel, and hammock. The anniversary line’s lip balm packaging utilizes over 90% recycled paper to buzz away plastic waste.

To truly capture the essence of Burt’s Bees, this busy array was photographed at Burt’s original cabin, with Tavern’s creative direction evoking a sense of nostalgia and connection to the idyllic world that birthed this beloved brand, tinted in the recognizable color palette.

Stepping out into the wilderness, Burt’s Bees is endeavoring to preserve Maine’s natural beauty by investing US$3 million in the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument’ss new Tekakapimek Contact Station, honoring the Wabanaki people’s heritage and ensuring this natural treasure thrives for generations to come.
