Oftentimes, it feels as though your pet owns the house. IKEA’s hilarious new campaign turns the tables—or, rather, pet bed. The furniture giant has swapped roles with furry friends and taken over pieces from UTSÅDD, its pet collection.
The visuals, crafted by advertising agency Memac Ogilvy for Al-Futtaim IKEA, shows humans jokingly reclaiming pet items—from curling up in oversized dog beds to slurping water from food bowls—to give four-legged pals “a taste of their own medicine.”

Called Time to Take What’s Theirs, this playful twist on the usual dog- and cat-focused campaigns perfectly sums up how pet owners often give in to their animal companions’ demands, celebrating the special bond between fur kids and parents.

The UTSÅDD range, which includes everything from bowls and beds to toys, has been carefully crafted with both pets and their owners in mind. IKEA worked with vets and pet experts to ensure the products are practical, durable, and stylish.
