Ed Sheeran has put a spicy twist on the traditional meet-and-greet. The chart-topping artist recently surprised patrons at a Sainsbury’s supermarket with what he calls “sauceographs,” with the ink being his new hot sauce with Kraft Heinz, Tingly Ted’s.

Swapping his trusty pen for a bottle of Tingly Ted’s, the Photograph singer left an “ED-ible” mark on everything from pizzas to paper towels, creating a whole new category of collectibles that are quite literally too hot to handle.

This spicy stunt, dreamed up by Kraft Heinz in collaboration with David Madrid, Wonderland Comms, and Uncovered, aimed to spread the word about Sheeran’s foray into the condiment world and his desire to create the “ketchup of hot sauces” that makes your breakfast eggs and late-night burritos sing.

As Sheeran doled out slices of pizza generously doused with Tingly Ted’s, fans and curious onlookers alike got a taste of his latest passion project.

“I’ve always been obsessed with creating the perfect hot sauce, something that adds a kick to any dish,” he explains, his enthusiasm as palpable as the heat from his sauce. “What better way to introduce fans to Tingly Ted’s than with something they’ve never seen before?”

Some recipients even listed the “sauceographs” on eBay within minutes, according to the press release. It goes to show the singer—and Kraft Heinz—knows how to bring the heat in more ways than one.
