Midjourney has officially entered the browser with the launch of its new Web Editor. Once confined to Discord, this new tool opens the door to more direct and intuitive image editing, giving users more control with artificially generated outputs.
This web-based canvas enables users to make precise adjustments to their images, instead of going back and forth between churning out and revising artwork on Discord. It’s now easier to tweak, fine-tune, and customize outputs without having to start from scratch—you can modify specific sections, and change the work’s aspect ratio or scale all in one view.
For instance, you could erase an object and replace it with another by sketching over the area (a process called inpainting) and updating your prompt.
Here, we have a picture of a kitten riding a carousel.

Apparently, you need to be yay tall to take this ride, so the kitten just got the boot by the theme park’s operators. What if we replaced it with a slightly more grown guest—say, a piglet?

That’s better. Now, Miss Piggy Sue isn’t your typical swine. She’s a fancy swine, and she needs a good picture for the ’gram. How about dressing her up in pearls?
