The world of photography just got more dolled up, with a pop of pink. Barbie and Kodak have teamed up to launch a limited-edition Barbie x Kodak Printomatic camera, adding a touch of nostalgia to life’s spontaneous events.

This Barbie x Kodak collaboration, which also includes several other exclusive items, is being showcased at IFA this year.

This pocket-sized digital camera prints photos on the spot, churning out 2 x 3-inch, full-color prints that are water-resistant and smudge-proof. The device ses ZINK (Zero Ink) technology, ditching messy ink cartridges for a cleaner, more efficient printing process.

The Printomatic, featuring a rather modest 5MP sensor, offers simplicity with a point-and-shoot design that lets users take a fresh shot even while their last one prints. Automatic flash comes into play during low-light moments.

Despite its vintage appeal, the Barbie x Kodak Printomatic brings modern convenience. Users can save photos to a microSD card, making it easy to reprint or share their photos digitally. Plus, the camera features a light sensor to ensure the flash comes on only when needed, and it even has handy slots for attaching a neck strap. While it doesn’t come with a USB cable, there’s still microSD storage.

With their adhesive backs, snapshots can be stuck anywhere, from scrapbooks to bedroom walls.

Other goodies in the collection include a Barbie x Kodak Step Slim Instant Mobile Photo Printer, which connects to the Kodak Step Prints app. From there, users can personalize their photos with stickers, filters, and frames before printing out vibrant sticky snaps.
