Canva is turning your design work into self-reflection, inviting users to look back at their year through a distinctly creative lens.
The platform has rolled out Design DNA, a personalized “creative identity card” that summarizes each user’s design habits and milestones from 2025, its take on Spotify’s Wrapped. Powered by artificial intelligence, the feature scans how people have used Canva across the year and translates those patterns into a shareable snapshot of their creative behavior.
With these creative report cards of sorts, no two paths look the same. Users are assigned playful titles based on how they design, such as ‘Font Stylist’, ‘Prompt Picasso’, ‘Chatter Box’ or ‘Newbie’. These labels reflect tendencies like typography choices, use of AI prompts, collaboration habits, or overall activity levels, rather than any measure of skill.

This year’s rollout follows strong engagement with the feature’s debut. Canva says it generated more than 111 million unique Design DNA cards last year, signaling a broad appetite for personalized, data-driven creative summaries.
Those curious about how their year in design stacks up can access their personalized Design DNAs directly through Canva’s website.
