As 7 April 2020 was World Health Day, Britney Spears went on Twitter to commemorate all the healthcare workers who are battling the coronavirus pandemic.
The singer shared an illustration of herself in a schoolgirl outfit and pigtails from the iconic …Baby One More Time music video, holding up a bottle of Purell hand sanitizer.
The text, “My loneliness is saving me,” is written on the fan-designed meme, playing on the original “my loneliness is killing me” lyric to encourage self-isolation during the COVID-19 outbreak.
“Enough said,” Spears captioned the post, inadvertently prompting fond memories of her hit single from 1998.
