Visually Impactful PSA Explains Social Distancing With Ping Pong Balls

The Ohio Department of Health unveiled a video explaining how social distancing can help to contain the coronavirus spread by using hundreds of ping pong balls laid out in mousetraps.
The footage begins with a single ping pong ball being tossed from above onto an array of hundreds of others on mousetraps placed closely together. Once the ball hits the grounds, it sets off several mousetraps, releasing the other balls and creating a domino effect. It results in a massive outburst, sending all the balls flying everywhere.
The next scene showcases the balls in mousetraps placed apart from each other. Once again, a ball is thrown from above to the ground. This time, however, it only affects a few without causing destruction to the other balls.
The video, which has since gone viral, aims to teach viewers how social distancing can help to flatten the curve and curb COVID-19 over time.
