Dunkin’s Bizarre Road Signboard Has Many Concerned If It’s A Cry For Help

An odd message beneath a Dunkin’ sign is baffling social media users and making them wonder if it’s another 2020 distress call.
Twitter user @notjambalaya spotted the alert reading, “Uh oh spicy! Pumpkin! Hahahaha pumpkin tasty,” while driving to work in Portland, Maine. He then shared the message online, to the confusion of many.
One concerned user commented, “Dunkin’ Donuts is out here having a breakdown like the rest of us.”
It turns out the sign was a playful tribute to a strange video from 2016 to promote the chain’s pumpkin-flavored coffee. Though some users appreciated the cheeky reference, the sign was soon taken down.
One user shared a photo of an employee, who could’ve been the creator of the message, removing the sign. However, it was then replaced with another sign, reading, “Pumpkin is back!”
