Letitia Wright Shares Spoken Tribute For Onscreen Brother Chadwick Boseman

Letitia Wright paid homage to her onscreen brother, the late Chadwick Boseman, through a spoken word poem posted on Instagram.
Wright played Shuri, the sister of Boseman’s character T’Challa, in Black Panther.
In the video, the actress reflected the moment she learned that Boseman had passed on after a four-year battle with colon cancer, as well as the memories she shared with him during their time together as onscreen siblings on the Marvel films.
“I’ll never forget the day that I met you. Before I got on the plane to LA for my first meeting with you, God told me that you were my brother and that I am to love you as such, and I always did, and I always will,” she said about the time she first met him.
“And all that’s left now is for us to allow all the seeds that you have planted on the earth to grow, to blossom, to become even more beautiful,” she said at the end. “You’re forever in my heart.”
